Join us on October 5 as for a Banned Book Read-In on our East Lawn. Bring a lawn chair, a cozy blanket, and a banned to read. We're going to be posting lists of books in our event - Charlotte's Web, the Diary of Anne Franke, 1984, are just a few of the books that have suffered from these discriminatory practices.The goal of the Read-In is to is to read in solidarity as we bring awareness to what is happening in different communities within the US.
We'll have food to munch on. Books available. In the event of inclement weather, we'll move inside.
