The August Banned Book Club pick is The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.This book has been banned and challenged for profanity, violence, and it was thought to promote an anti-police message and indoctrination of a social agenda.
Book club registration is required and includes one paperback copy of the book, which may be picked up in store or shipped nationwide.
Book club will meet in the store on 8/17/25 from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
