At Loveland Aleworks, we believe in the power of stories—especially the ones someone tried to silence. Our Banned Books Club is a space where we explore books that have been challenged, censored, or banned throughout history. Each month, we’ll read a different banned book and come together to discuss why it was banned, who wanted it off the shelves, and whether it should have been banned at all.Whether you're a literary rebel or just curious about the history of censorship, grab a pint and join the conversation!
📖 What to Expect:
-A thoughtfully chosen banned book each month.
-Insightful discussions on censorship, free speech, and literature.
-A welcoming space for diverse perspectives.
-Delicious craft beer from Loveland Aleworks.
Our first discussion will be on 1984 by George Orwell!
Everyone is welcome. No need to sign up, simply show up to join!
Wednesday is All Day Happy Hour, too! Enjoy $5 pours of draft beer, $13 Beer & Bites, $18 Two Beers & a Pizza. Note that beer options for all specials exclude Imperial Stout, special releases, and barrel-aged beers.
