The class is offered both in-person at Legal Aid Center and online through Zoom (be sure to check the bottom of your emails from Eventbrite for the online meeting link). Find details at www.lacsn.org/bclass.This online and in-person class will teach you the realities and myths of bankruptcy, the differences between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, how to represent yourself in court, and alternatives to bankruptcy. You will also learn how to apply for a pro bono (free) attorney to file your Chapter 7 case.
NOTE: The free Bankruptcy class offered by Legal Aid Center is not the credit counseling session that is required before you file for bankruptcy.
