Skijoring returns to Banff National Park for its fourth year, as Skijor Canada puts on a show of horse-riding, trick-riding, and ski stunts as part of the 2025 SnowDays Festival.📅 - This year there will be two shows – one on Saturday January 18th 2025 and one on Sunday January 19th 2025.
⏰ - No tickets are required, just find a great viewpoint along Banff Avenue before the event starts at 2pm on both days.
🧥 - Guests who come dressed Skijor Style could be selected to be part of the half time fashion show and a chance to win prizes! Spotters in the crowd will select spectators who embody #skijorstyle so wear your best boots, put on your coats, your pappy’s trapper hat and anything neon in your attic.
🎥 - The event will also be live streamed in select bars and restaurants in town, so you don’t miss any of the action!
ℹ - Please note: This event is weather dependent. Skijor Canada’s top priority is the safety of horses, riders, sliders, and spectators. In the event of adverse weather, including extreme cold or rain, Skijor Canada may need to modify or cancel all or part of the event.
