About this Event
Bandsaw Basics
The bandsaw is one of the most versatile tools in the shop. It can do basic tasks such as ripping, crosscutting and also cutting curves. However, this is only the beginning as it can do so much more including resawing, creating veneers, circle cutting to list just a few. Success with these tasks can be difficult to achieve if the machine is not setup properly or outfitted with the right blade. There is also a lot of misunderstanding about the bandsaw. In this seminar, learn how to setup and safely use this important tool along with proper adjustment of guides, achieving the correct tension and selecting the right blade from the many choices.
