About this Event
Are you a recently qualified OT looking to develop your skills and experience across a wide range of physical and mental health settings?
Would you like to gain experience in a variety of clinical areas to give yourself a strong foundation for your career in OT?
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated OT’s to join our established Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation.
The rotation offers a unique opportunity to work in a mix of clinical areas in different teams across physical health and mental health. The rotation currently includes:
- Adult Mental Health (inpatient)
- Adult Learning Disability (community)
- Forensic Mental Health (inpatient)
- Stroke Rehabilitation (inpatient)
- Older Adult Mental Health (inpatient)
- Older Adult Mental Health (community)
- Community Therapy Service (community)
- Community Hospital rehabilitation (inpatient)
The rotation is focused in and around the city of Oxford, with some rotations based in the community hospitals to the south of the county. Each rotation is for a period of 8 months.
In each rotation you will work within a team to assess, plan, treat and review patients with a range of physical and mental health conditions. Different settings use different clinical models or frameworks suitable for their area, which you will be supported to develop your understanding of. You will also be supported to work through specific competencies to evidence your developing skills in each specialty.

We anticipate that the day will be busy, so please bear with us, as we try to move you through the 4 elements of the day as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
