Firstly, a HUGE thanks from all of us at Banbury Soul Club to those who attended our last event way back in April.Quite simply without you, the attendees, we would not have an event.
Our next happening is our 22nd Anniversary.
This will be on Saturday 22nd November, 7.30pm to midnight.
For those that haven’t been before please make sure you come along and enjoy a superb soulful night’s entertainment.
Kev Such is our guest DJ for the anniversary celebrations.
Please give him a warm welcome.
Kev is a well known and respected DJ around Northamptonshire and surrounding area’s.
He has DJ’d at Olney Soul Club, the Weedon Weekender, Cotgrave Miners and countless other venues.
More importantly he promoted his own highly successful event, the Cream Cracker Soul Club at Rothwell.
Rest assured his collection will definitely entertain you and keep the dance floor busy.
Please Note that due to Building works at Banbury Train Station access to Banbury United Club has altered. If you turn into Station Approach now it is an £80 fine with cameras recording all car registrations. There are signs saying no entry but even local people have ignored them and been fined. Please pass this information on too anyone who is not on Facebook and would normally come to the club via the Station entrance. Thank You.
The only access to the club at the moment is by way of Tramway Road.
This will be for the foreseeable future.
The Club Postcode has NOT altered and is still OX16 5AB.
BUT the new access to the venue is via Tramway Road.
Post Code for Tramway Road is OX16 5TU. If this is not recognised then Post Code OX16 5AQ is for Morrisons Supermarket on Swan Close Road. Tramway Road is opposite Morrisons. See diagram.
Simply go all the way down Tramway Road until the roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and you are on the road that leads to Banbury United Clubhouse.
Turn right into the Clubhouse car park which is well lit.
Still only £5 on the door.
Anyway, onto the night itself.
Those who have attended previously know the format for the evening.
As always, the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment.
Charlie, Steve, Tom and Dave the resident DJ’s will be playing their own selections of danceable soul music to guarantee a brilliant night.
Expect to hear sounds from the last 50 years covering all genres, tempos and styles.
In summary this will genuinely be a “something for everyone” evening.

For those who have not been to Banbury United Clubhouse it has a free car park immediately outside the venue.
With a raised stage, main wooden dancefloor and with seating and tables on both sides.
Another plus is its all on ground floor level with no stairs to contend with.
Hopefully this will give you an idea of the layout and how it’s ideally suited for a night of soul music.
For people with mobility issues the Club has disabled toilet facilities.
Pay on the door is still only £5.00.
