For over a century, the BSO has been recognized as one of America’s leading orchestras and one of Maryland’s most significant cultural institutions. The orchestra is internationally renowned and locally admired for its innovation, performances, recordings, and educational outreach initiatives, including OrchKids, a program with which UMBC has had a long relationship.

Franz Joseph Haydn — Symphony No. 100 in G Major (“Military”)
Emilie Mayer — Faust Overture, Op. 46
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — Flute Concerto No. 2 in D Major, K. 314
Jonathon Heyward, conductor

Seating for this performance is assigned and starts at $15. $10 senior and $5 students tickets are available.
Linehan Concert Hall, located in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, is easy to visit, with plenty of free parking.
