A walk to visit the Share Shack project and City Farm in Balsall Heath, open to people of all faiths and none.Balsall Heath Share Shack is part of “a series of community spaces for residents to connect with each other by borrowing, repairing, re-using and being creative! Share Shacks aim to strengthen relationships in communities, reduce waste, encourage people to share skills, borrow free tools and equipment, and learn something new.” It’s based at Balsall Heath City Farm, and run by The Active Wellbeing Society, in partnership with St Pauls Trust.
Balsall Heath City Farm is “an urban oasis in the heart of inner-city Birmingham with 50 animals and attractive planting.”
Meet at the Share Shack for 9:30am, the walk will begin at 9:45 and last for an hour. Refreshments provided.
