Experience something new this summer! Enroll your child ages 6-13 in our Ballroom Dance Summer Camp!Kids will be introduced to the basics of various Rhythm and Smooth dances. Ballroom dancing offers many benefits:
Physical - improved body awareness and posture, cardio workout, muscle strength and tone.
Social - boost self-confidence, expression, teamwork and focus.
Your instructors are Renata and Yuliya, both moms to kids that dance, with a combined dance teaching and performing experience for over 40 years.
Sample daily schedule:
9am - warm up
9:15 - history of the dances, music analysis, teacher demonstration
9:30 - basics of samba and salsa
10:00 - snack break
10:15 - history of smooth dances, music analysis, teacher demonstration
10:30 - basics of foxtrot and waltz
11:00 - line Dance
11:30 - game
12:00 - end of day
We will finish out the week with a performance for the participants' families.
Cost of 5-day camp: $250
