The first session is being bumped back to the 27th because of the heat on the 20th. We will also not be holding class on the 4th of July, so the second class which is also open to walk-in students will be July 11.
Ballroom Basics is a six-week session where we focus on two ballroom dances. This session is the smooth Foxtrot and the energetic Salsa. By the end the goal is for you to feel comfortable dancing a full song in each dance. This is designed for absolute beginners who want to give ballroom dance a try as well as returning dancers who are brushing up on your basics. To reach that goal, along with in-class instruction, you will get handouts of the steps covered and a weekly email with Youtube links to that week’s steps. You will also be learning to lead or follow and starting to work on proper body movement and technique. No partner or previous dance experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn!
The first two classes (June 27, July 11) are open to walk-in students at $18 each if you want to just give it a try. A 6-class punch card is $90.
