The organizers of this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade are thrilled to announce that Ballina’s own Dr. Norah Patten, an Aeronautical Engineer and crew member with the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS), has been named the Grand Marshal for Ballina’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025.
Dr. Norah Patten is on track to become the first person from Ireland to journey into space, as part of an international spaceflight mission.
The theme of Ballina's St Patricks Day Parade 2025 is - 'Reach for the Stars.'
