Ballet Kelowna opens its 2024/25 season with an electrifying mixed program Ode to mark the retirement of senior artist Desiree Bortolussi after 13 illustrious years with Ballet Kelowna. For her final performances on November 8 + 9 2024 at the Kelowna Community Theatre Ms. Bortolussi will be featured in the return of Simone Orlando’s seductive Cuatro Estaciones and the riveting Bolero from The National Ballet of Canada’s Guillaume Côté as well as the Canadian premiere of Trey McIntyre’s The Reassuring Effects (of Form and Poetry). The 2024/25 season is presented by the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation.
