Ballet and Fine Art Nude Workshop

Join two acclaimed photographers, Steve Richard and Sasha Onyshchenko for an immersive three-day workshop exploring the world of ballet and fine art nude photography. Each with their own unique artistic perspective, Steve and Sasha create beautiful and powerful fine art images of the human form and bodies in motion. These two celebrated photographers will openly share their process and art of creating extraordinary images in a studio environment.

Participants will get a chance to shoot one-on-one with pro ballet and nude models along side Steve and Sasha. Having the opportunity to absorb ideas, processes, and philosophies from an exceptional artist is a rare opportunity, having access to two during the same workshop is almost unheard of! Not to mention the opportunity to connect in person with a community of fellow photographers who share your passion.

If at times you feel you are at a creative roadblock, repeating the same image or concept over and over, this event is definitely for you. The workshop spends as much time on the philosophy of creating the story in an image as it does on the technology and techniques, and is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for both inspiration and knowledge.

• Refreshments and light snacks will be provided on Friday. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.

• There are no refunds, but if you cannot make the event you can transfer your ticket to another photographer.

STEVE RICHARD

Is a renowned artist known for his powerful fine art nudes and beautiful illusions. His work has been published internationally in books and magazines, and he has been featured in blogs, journals, websites and galleries around the world. Steve has a strong personal style and a unique creative vision when it comes to seeing body and line. His methods for creating a beautiful world-class image within a very simple framework centres on his very sculptured approach for capturing photographs in-camera, using minimal or no post-production.

SASHA ONYSHCHENKO

Ukrainian-born Sasha with over 10 years of experience working on commercial projects, carved out a niche in portrait and ballet photography, blending his practical mind with innovative spirit to produce images that capture the mood and character of a person.

Being a former ballet dancer, his firsthand understanding of the art form allows him to capture its nuances and beauty with a unique perspective.

With projects ranging from classically simple sessions to highly elaborate productions, he's drawn towards passionate subjects, working with musicians, dancers, and artists alike.
