Join us in celebrating our 50th year as a free museum! We always plan something special for our season opener and this year is no exception! We are hosting the Early American Musical group: Bedlam who will perform two interactive concerts at 1:30 and 3:00 pm.Bedlam specializes in Early American music, including songs and tunes of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Its unusual name comes from a ballad about the infamous mental asylum, the Hospital of St. Mary of Bethlehem, London, known throughout history as Bedlam. The group performs tavern songs, romantic ballads, lively dance tunes, and instrumental selections on guitars, recorders, and percussion. Bring a blanket and snack on colonial era sweet treats as we begin celebrating our 50th year!
