Please note that a DRESS CODE is required, identical to that of the Vienna Ball of Sciences (Rathaus).

Bio:
Jessica Gerdel is a versatile researcher and educator dedicated to Tango Argentino, with a deep passion for the intersections between culture, social dynamics, personal development, and the body.
After an academic overdose, she chose the path of body-mind connections and became a certified Yoga teacher and Tango Argentino dance instructor in Buenos Aires, with further training in somatic education and dance/movement therapy.
For more than 10 years, she has dedicated her career to teaching Tango Argentino and exploring how this dance, and movement in general, influence identity, emotions and human relationships.
Her work is characterized by a holistic view that helps people embody the essence of Tango Argentino and build meaningful connections with themselves and others, and grow within a welcoming community that celebrates collective progress.
Since 2022, she organizes the Milonga Itinerante in Vienna and other events whose motto has become widely known: "Come as you are!" Bringing together people who co-create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere for newcomers and regulars.
