Balkazar plays a mix of Balkan and music which is very dancy. With it's simple upbeat rhythm, as well as complex odd rhythms, speed ups, rhythm changes, eastern vibe and gypsy soul, this music just makes you get up, move and let yourself go. It is like nothing else you ever heard or will hear in Taiwan.
An amazing chance to travel the world through music, as Balkan peninsula in Southeastern Europe was a melting pot for different people and music genres for centuries.
Some modern touch of Rock, Latino, Reggae, Ska, Funk, Slavic, Gypsy and Eastern European music was added and performed by an energetic horn section that branded it with Balkazar's unique Balkan flavor!
More than a concert, listening to Balkazar is a journey.
