Ciac Boum zijn in de folkwereld bekende ambassadeurs van de Franse regio Poitou. Christian Pacher (viool en zang), Julien Padovani (chromatische accordeon, kick en zang) en Alban Pacher (viool en zang) brengen met passie en enthousiasme de muziek uit hun thuisstreek. De deunen zijn vrolijk, energiek en inventief, en zullen een mix zijn tussen het bekende Balfolk-repertoire en de bijzondere dansen uit Poitou.
Aurélien Claranbaux is één van de bekendste artiesten uit de balfolk. Zo speelt hij o.a. accordeon in ZEF, Duo Absynthe en FeO, maar ook solo staat hij zeker zijn mannetje met een kick en wat effecten voor wat extra power. Op het podium speelt hij een mix van traditionals, eigen composities (waarvan velen nu traditionals aan het worden zijn) en improvisatie. Hij haal zijn inspiratie uit een breed scala aan genres zoals traditionele Franse folk, jazz, rock, rap en wereldmuziek. Het ene moment laat hij je grooven en swingen op een traditionele melodie en het andere moment zweef je over de dansvloer tijdens een subtiele en intieme deun.

Let op! Als je nog geen kaartje hebt, betaal je contant of per QR code (iDeal, Bancontact) aan de kassa bij de deur. Later in de avond verplaatst de kassa naar de bar. Mocht je geen contant bij je hebben, dan kun je met de Albert Heijn aan de Voorstraat pinnen. Bij ons kun je helaas niet pinnen.

Ciac Boum are well-known ambassadors of the French region of Poitou in the folk world. One moment he will have you grooving and swinging to a traditional melody and the next you will be floating across the dance floor during a subtle and intimate tune.
