We will be trying an alternative venue for our informal balfolk dance with live music, the event space of the Outhouse bar near Edinburgh Waverley Station. We will have a quick run-through of some balfolk basics at the beginning of the session, followed by relaxed social dancing.It is free entry, but please buy something from the bar if you can to support the venue. No partner or dancing experience necessary. Balfolk musicians welcome.
Beforehand in the same space our friends at Lusan Bui are having a Gaelic Dance workshop from 5-6pm, which many of us will also be going to: https://fb.me/e/7Cz0syOnf - note that 6pm is when the balfolk starts you will want to get there at the earlier time of 5pm for the Gaelic dancing.
