We will have a special guest musician this evening, accordionist Daniel Loughran who will be playing a balfolk set for us with our own Isla Zhang on fiddle. The venue is the small hall of Leith Dockers Club (17-17a, Academy St, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7EF). We will have a quick run-through of some balfolk basics at the beginning of the session, followed by relaxed social dancing.It is free entry, but donations are welcome to help pay for the cost of venue hire. No partner or dancing experience necessary. Other experienced balfolk musicians will be welcome to jam with Dan and Isla later int the evening.
