It's that time of year again folks!! Baldy's is hosting another Newbie Run. Spots are limited and not reserved by clicking going. If you have attended this class in the past and need MORE instruction, please contact Trey Meyer at the shop. Please give others a chance to sign up and learn with us.
Please take time to read ALL of the details. Thank you!
Howdy! Who's ready for some adventure? Here is our Newbie Run event and everyone is welcome! This is an ALL BRANDS WELCOME run. We do ask that your 4x4 is a street legal and registered vehicle. No SXSs at this time. We will be guiding you on some easy trails in the morning, eating lunch at the food truck at the park, and then taking a little harder trails in the afternoon. All you need is a 4x4, a full tank of gas, some water, snacks, lunch and a GREAT ATTITUDE. There is a park entry fee and they will take debit and credit cards. This is for beginners with little to no experience off road. Let's go have some fun!
Baldy's is excited to get you out on the trails with your Off Road Vehicle. We'll go over the basics including airing down your tires, disconnecting sway bars, and safety on the trails. Then, the adventure starts and we'll hit the trails! There we will learn about picking lines, spotting, using 4WD low and high ranges, BTM, lockers and your other off road equipment.
We do not charge for these events. All guides and gunners are volunteers. We do have a charity donation that is strictly optional. Please donate to this charity if you can. This events charity is Tread LIghtly!. You are welcome to bring cash to donate or click on the link below to donate online. Thank you.

A little bit about Tread Lightly!:
Tread Lightly! is a non-profit organization that leads a national initiative to promote the responsible use of motorized vehicles when recreating outdoors. Our goal is to balance the off-road and off-highway vehicle (OHV) users’ need for adventure with the need to conserve the places where they ride and explore.
