This winter is for the birds! And there is no better way to spend a cold winter morning than viewing some spectacular birds of prey right in our watershed!
Join LWA for this chartered coach bus trip and educational program to view the Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles that frequent the Loyalhanna Dam spillway at this time of year to catch an easy meal. Bring your binoculars and cameras for an exciting experience as you watch these amazing birds up close while learning about their successful return to our region from PA Game Commission Warden, Michael Papinchak. Learn about their behavior, nesting habits, and witness their impressive hunting skills in action.
After the program, hop back on the bus and enjoy a delcious breakfast/lunch on your own at the Keystone Kitchen family restaurant in New Alexandria before returning to Ligonier.

Bus will depart the parking area at the Ligonier Country Market field at 9:15 am and will return at approximately 1:00 pm.
