BIO teachers
Since 2015 Sophie & Ivo have been sharing their passion for dance as a teaching duo, specializing in Balboa. Together, they have over 20 years of experience as Lindy Hop instructors, and Sophie brings an additional 15 years of dance expertise, with a background in tap dance, jazz roots, and body drumming.
In Balboa, they emphasize the importance of connection and technique. This focus is central to their classes and workshops. They are also known for their excellent pedagogic skills, which make their teaching both engaging and effective.
To stay at the forefront of Balboa’s evolution, they actively participate in international workshops, constantly honing their skills and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
