LEVELS
Balboa intermediate level
You'll want to join this level if:
• Your Balboa and Bal-Swing basics and classic figures are solid.
• You feel comfortable dancing Balboa and Bal-Swing up to 180-200 BPM.
• You want to expand your vocabulary, become a better social dancer, and strengthen your overall technique.
Balboa advanced level
You'll want to join this level if:
• You practice your dancing regularly. E.g. Training time, social dancing, travelling to festivals.
• You know multiple footwork stylings, and variations on the classic figures, and feel comfortable dancing them above 200-220 BPM.
• You want to dig deep into concepts, make your dancing look and feel great, and master your overall technique

TEACHERS
Natalia
Natalia discovered Balboa in 2005 in Ottawa, Canada, and it was love at rst dance! Mentored by great second-generation Balboa dancers from California, USA, she swi ly transitioned from enthusiast to local instructor, earning her rst Canadian Balboa champion title in 2010. With 18 years of teaching experience under her belt, Natalia has shared her love of Balboa across continents.
Known for her lively and technically precise teaching approach, Natalia infuses her dance classes with infectious energy and a passion for the art of Balboa. Her dancing style, with roots in Colombian folk and partner dances, evolved through rigorous training in Ballet, Swing, and Jazz dances during her teenage years in Canada. Today, her carefully curated and distinctive air makes her a standout presence on the dance oor.
Natalia is a Colombian native, and Canadian citizen, living in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Vasu
Vasu discovered Swing Dancing at the University of Florida and has been hooked ever since. His dedication to the art takes him around the globe to dance socially, perform, compete, and teach in Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag. Renowned for his precise technique and enthusiasm for swing dancing at any tempo, Vasu loves pushing the boundaries with unconventional rhythms, shapes, and connections. With a special affinity for Pure Balboa, he constantly seeks to innovate and redefine traditional dance partnerships. Whether he's dancing all night on the social floor or rigorously training for competitions and performances, Vasu's passion for swing dancing is evident. A lifelong learner, he is equally passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge with others.
