The Baltimore Django Jazz Jam is graciously hosting us for dancing! They have offered to give us some dance space at the front, and their music is perfect for Balboa dancing! Don't be fooled, DANCING IS NOT REQUIRED! Come if you want to listen to music and watch dancers too. Feel free to come early at 6PM for a drink, they have great options including cocktails, beers, many NA beers and mocktails. OPEN BALBOA PRACTICE 5:45-6:30. If you are new to Balboa, please arrive early for DROP-IN LESSON at 6PM!
Live music starts around 6:30 and ends around 10, then hop over to Mobtown for more dancing!
There is no cover charge, but have a drink and TIP YOUR WAITSTAFF!
TIP THE BAND at least $10 so that we can continue to host this event!
Location is the Green Room which is on the sidewalk level, NOT the pub (downstairs) or the cocktail room (upstairs)
This is a jam, and often the songs are long, feel free to end your dance early, start late or switch partners mid-way (planned or unplanned). Please DO NOT get upset if your partner ends the dance early, these songs can be very long.
