Edinbop's next block of weekly Balboa dance classes starts on 16 September. And the first beginner class is FOR FREE - no registration required for the taster, just come along!The block is 5 weeks long, and you can join either the Fundamentals classes, for which you don't need any dance experience, or the Improver/Intermediate classes. You don't need a dance partner to register.
Never heard of Balboa? It's a 1930s Swing dance generally danced to faster Jazz music. Maybe take a look at this recent competition video from Camp Jitterbug in Seattle, USA:
Each class costs £8 (£7 concession), and you can buy tickets in advance for 3, 4 or 5 classes.
19:30-20:15 Fundamentals class (suitable for absolute beginners)
20:15-20:45 Joint practice time / social dancing
20:45-21:30 Improvers / Intermediates class (requires previous Balboa experience)
