Learn balboa swing from scratch! Balboa is known known for its close-embrace “hug-like” connection and fast shuffling footwork.
In this 4-week course we will cover fundamental balboa moves, including the up-hold basic, down-hold basic, come-arounds, out-and-ins, lollies, promenade, and basic toss-outs.
No partner or experience necessary.
However, we recommend that you have at least one year of social dance experience (e.g., lindy hop, WCS, Argentine tango, etc.)
We also recommend wearing slick-soled dance shoes for all balboa classes.
