About this Event

Welcome to the first of our three-part series on classical perfumery techniques, designed to guide both beginners and advanced perfumers through the timeless art of scent creation. In this class, you will gain the confidence to blend a wide array of materials and master the evaluation of complex scent combinations. Join us as we delve into the foundational practices that have stood the test of time, empowering you to craft exquisite and harmonious fragrances.

Learn the “whys and wherefores” of the fascinating world of scent, as Danial Krasofski presents an interpretive lens to Jean Carles’ approach to perfumery. For beginner, intermediate and advanced perfumers looking to expand their technical prowess.

Join us for a 1.5 hour guided session that focuses on the importance of materials knowledge and proportion. Participants go through a set of exercises that roots itself in Jean Carles’ methodology, with the eye to contemporary perfumery. Let’s go back to basics and learn the art of proportions!

By attending these classes, an emerging perfumer or scent artist will expand their capabilities and training, gain the materials knowledge to add various fragrance components to their arsenal, and leave with a deeper understanding of the artistry and science behind perfumery. It's technical blending at its best, leading to a greater adeptness at blending, and very well-trained noses.
