Apply to play Balanced Breakfast's Unofficial 2025 Showcase on Saturday, March 15th at The Dogwood on West 6th in Austin during SxSW:
This year Balanced Breakfast has 1 unofficial showcase date at The Dogwood in Austin during SxSW. The showcase is from 1-10PM on Saturday, March 15th. We will choose 7 bands and 13 solo artists from the applications we receive. All applicants will be notified via email of our lineup choices. If your band is approved, you will be assigned a 30-minute set.
We will start the showcase with two "Singers in The Round" sets featuring 3 artists each. Additionally, there is a second stage for solo artists between band sets. Unfortunately, we do not book DJs during our showcase. Finally, applying does not guarantee your band a spot in the showcase, but we will notify you either way.
MORE DETAILS:
• Show is back-lined with drums, a guitar amp, and a bass amp
• Sound equipment, including mics, PA's, and monitors which will also be supplied.
• Selected artists can sell their band merch at the venues.
• It is preferred that all members of the submitting bands be 21+, but it is not required.
• There is no compensation for playing the showcase.
