The dynamic duo that are Sandy Blocker and Brian Tyndall will be in house Saturday March 22nd to play some west African folk songs mixed with a heaping helping of Afro-Cuban & Nola 2nd line influences!
Sandy Blocker plays a Balafon (Bala for short), which is essentially a West African marimba. And Brian Tyndall (from the Mantras) plays electric bass.
They’ve been playing together for three years now despite knowing each other for decades and we love watching them work!
