Baking Baklava and Brewing Mysteries!

Join us for a delightful baking workshop at Cultivate Jax, where you’ll learn to make scrumptious baklava bites and learn about the rich heritage of Turkish coffee and fortune cup readings.
Each participant will have their own cooking station, prepped with all the ingredients with step-by-step guidance, for easily assembly in mini muffin tins. Once our baklava bites are in the oven, baking to golden perfection, I’ll guide you through the enchanting world of Turkish coffee fortune readings.
We'll explore the traditional brewing method using a cezve, and dive into the rich history and customs that make this ritual truly special. You’ll experience how coffee cup readings are done, examining the different shapes and patterns inside the cup and interpreting their meanings. It’s like peering into a mystical world where every swirl and shape tells a tale!
Once the baklava bites are ready, we’ll top them off with traditional rose water-infused syrup and enjoy them!
Small containers will be provided for you to take home any leftover baklava.
Spaces are limited, so grab your spot for a day of sweets, culture, and a touch of magic!
