The UNM MFA in Dramatic Writing BakeOff Readings showcase new plays written by graduate students in response to a timed writing challenge. Each playwright is given the same set of creative “ingredients”—such as specific themes, images, or lines of dialogue—and tasked with incorporating them into a script. The result is a series of distinct, original pieces that reflect each writer’s unique voice and approach to the same prompt.With guest director Zoe Lesser.
