Our Charity Cake Sale and Flea Market will take place again on October 19th – as always at the Bossa Brew House, for which we are very grateful to be allowed to use the venue. This year there’s something new:
Not only Mayday will benefit, but also the Associação Patinhas de Sagres, who have been invited to join us and introduce their work. They take care of stray cats in the area. There will also be little kittens looking for new homes – for anyone who simply can’t resist.
So folks: Spread the word! Start gathering things you no longer need, and think about which of your friends are good at baking a delicious cake. We’ll be happy to receive them on the day of the event (we’ll be there from 10:30 a.m. to set up, but the market doesn't start until 12 noon!). Clothes and other items can also be dropped off in advance with Franzi, Dörte, Kathrin, or any of our regular helpers. Or just bring them along on the day.
And one more thing: This time we’ll have little kittens with us, hopefully to be placed into loving arms. So please consider carefully whether to bring your dogs – it can get a bit chaotic. Maybe they could stay at home this time, or be kept on a leash out on the patio.

A nossa Venda de Bolos Solidária e Feira da Ladra vai realizar-se novamente no dia 19 de outubro – como sempre no Bossa Brew House, pelo qual estamos muito agradecidos por nos ceder o espaço.
Este ano há uma novidade:
Não só o Mayday será beneficiado, mas também a Associação Patinhas de Sagres, que foi convidada a estar presente e a apresentar o seu trabalho. Eles cuidam de gatos de rua na região. Também haverá gatinhos disponíveis para adoção – para todos aqueles que não conseguem resistir.
Por isso, pessoal: espalhem a palavra! Comecem a reunir coisas de que já não precisam e pensem em quais dos vossos amigos sabem fazer um bolo delicioso. Teremos todo o gosto em recebê-los no dia do evento (estaremos lá a partir das 10h30 para o Set-Up). Roupas e outros artigos podem também ser entregues antecipadamente à Franzi, Dörte, Kathrin ou a qualquer um dos nossos ajudantes habituais. Ou então tragam-nos diretamente no próprio dia.
E mais uma coisa: desta vez teremos connosco pequenos gatinhos, que esperamos poder encaminhar para braços cheios de amor. Por isso, pedimos que pensem bem se devem trazer os vossos cães – pode tornar-se um pouco caótico. Talvez desta vez seja melhor ficarem em casa ou ficarem presos com trela no pátio.
