A unique concept for a day retreat, nourishing the body and soul with bread making, meditation and yoga. We begin with mixing the dough, and whilst it rests and rises, you'll participate in a gentle meditation led by experienced yoga instructor Jane, from Formby yoga.
We'll knock back the bread, and fill it with delicious mix of cinnamon, and as it rests and rises once again, you'll take a gentle walk, forest bathing in the glorious surrounding woods.
Once our breads are ready for the oven, sprinkled with some sugar, we'll pop them in the oven and enjoy their warming aroma as we sit together to enjoy our lunch, of homemade soup and bread.
And after lovely lunch, chat and connect you'll enjoy a very gentle yoga practice with Jane, taking the time to rest, relax and rejuvenate.
These day retreats are ridiculously good value, so much so, that one lady has been three times, bringing a different friend each time.
I love teaching the bread making at them, and Jane from Formby Yoga leads the other activities, gently easing us into the winter.
The venue and activities are accessible to all - just let us know in advance if you have any requirements. The bread will be cinnamon buns, and I am sure there will be a home made mince pie in the mix too!
