Bainbridge Island Oktoberfest

Bainbridge Island Oktoberfest will be hosted by the Bainbridge Island Rowing Club, Bainbridge Events, and the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association. This is our first Oktoberfest, and we hope to establish it as a new pillar of the community — a celebration that brings neighbors, friends, and families together each fall.

Our event is designed to be inclusive and family-friendly, offering something for every age. Guests can enjoy an Oktoberfest Biergarten — an outdoor space with seating, drinks, and activities where kids and adults can mingle together — in addition to the full schedule of games, crafts, and entertainment happening inside the Stan Pocock Rowing Center. Authentic German food for purchase will be provided by the Hitchcock Group, and additional snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from the event hosts.

Highlights include:

• The Hometown Band performing a traditional Oktoberfest-style concert (6–8 PM)
• DJ-led music and contests earlier in the day with special appearances and VIP hosting by Mayor Ashley Mathews
• Stein-holding contest for adults
• Donut-eating competition
• Costume contests for both kids and adults
• Specialty crafts hosted by Heart & Soul Studio
• Photo Booth by The Lightning Booth for festive keepsakes
• All-day games and activities like cornhole and Oktoberfest Bingo

This community-first Oktoberfest is about fun, connection, and tradition. Whether you’re coming for the food and drinks, the family activities, or the music and contests, there will be plenty to enjoy at Bainbridge Island’s newest fall tradition.

Admission to Bainbridge Island Oktoberfest is free and open to all. Pre-registration is encouraged to help us plan for food, activities, and seating, and to make your arrival quick and easy on event day.

Info: The Oktoberfest Biergarten and food vendors will be ready to serve, and festival merchandise will be available for purchase. Guests can jump right into the fun with a variety of activities for all ages, including children’s crafts, casual games like cornhole, and interactive stations throughout the grounds.
