We are excited to be back downtown Grand Rapids, MI for our annual Bags on Ionia Street party with Peppinos! This year we are going to have another great lineup of sponsors! Red Bull will be bringing their Iconic Music Truck down to blast tunes for the day! This in NOT your typical cornhole tournament. We are planning a fun filled day of cornhole on the downtown streets of Grand Rapids in the "SOCIAL ZONE"- that means you can purchase an alcoholic drink from any of the local bars and carry it out in the zone with you! You cannot bring your own alcohol into the social zone.....unless you want a ticket with a hefty fine.
The cost is $10 per Player!! ($20/team). Check in will start at 11:00 am Bags will fly at approximately noon! This is a bring your own partner event.
We will start the day off with 5 Round Robin games, meaning you will randomly be matched with other opponents. All skill levels are encouraged to play. After the 5 games, we will divide the teams into multiple different brackets based on the results of the round robin matches. (Directors have the ability to move teams that they feel belong in other tiers) Player will then proceed to play in double elimination brackets hopefully against players of the same caliber. The event usually ends around 6 pm for those left standing.
There will be Trophies provided for the top 3 teams in each tournament Tier. Other prizes and awards will be announced prior to the double elimination brackets beginning, however there is no guarantee of cash payouts! This isn't that kind of event! We typically have prizes donated by our sponsors.
