About this Event

This year, BAE Systems Naval Ships will be offering apprenticeships at advanced, higher and degree levels. If you are interested in joining the team, come to our Apprentice Recruitment Event on Thursday 6th February 2025 in our Applied Shipbuilding Academy. Sign up via the Eventbrite link to secure your place. Event is open to all ages!

During the evening you will be able to find out about the wide range of Apprenticeships available and what each role entails. There will be the opportunity to speak to current apprentices, our skilled trainers and the Early Careers staff. In addition, you can seek advice on the application process and the other programmes we offer, such as Women in Engineering, Work Experience and STEM activities for schools.

* Due to room capacity, we ask that all attendees select an arrival time. You are welcome to stay longer but in order for us to manage numbers, please do not arrive before your selected time slot.

Arrival 1: 17.00 -17.30

Arrival 2: 17.30 -18.00

Arrival 3: 18.00 -18.30

Arrival 4: 18.30 -19.00

Arrival 5: 19.00 -19.30

* Our Apprentice recruitment window will open 4 November 2024 - 28 February 2025 with apprenticeships commencing August 2025.

Please note:

- All participants 16 and over are required to bring photographic ID for access to the event. The following ID is accepted:

EITHER ONE of the following-

· A current ten year passport

· A photographic UK driving licence

· An existing MOD/military/defence ID card

· Authorised Local Authority card. e.g. Police Warrant card

OR TWO of the following:

· A current old style full UK driving licence with no picture ID.

· An income tax certificate, P60.

· An original full birth certificate.

· Proof of residency at a given address (i.e. water, gas/electricity bill or Council Tax demand which must be dated within the previous 3 months)

· A National Insurance card.
