Meet at 8.00am at the entrance to the reserve on Benmuni Road.
From Wanneroo Road turn east onto Ocean Reef Road. After 2kms turn north onto Lenore Road and after 1.4kms turn right into Bebich Drive. Follow this to the end and turn right at the T junction into Benmuni Road. The entrance to the reserve is 300mtrs along here on the left.
There are roadworks happening in the area. If Bebich Dr is closed follow detours and use Nicholas Rd.
This walk of about 3.5kms leads through a variety of bushland habitats and around part of Badgerup Lake, although only a small section of the lake is visible due to dense reed growth.
A good selection of bush-birds has been seen here plus raptors over the lake and several parrot species, including Red-capped parrot and Elegant parrot.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined bird list.
