About this Event
Bad Art Club is flipping the script on what makes art "good" or "bad". The point is not what you make, it's how you feel making it. Whoever makes the worst art wins, and zero experience is encouraged. You're likely to gain a lot of inspiration, creative confidence and new friends in the process.
So come and sink your fingers into a bunch of clay with us! Mash, roll, squeeze and mold your way into new and surprising shapes. Destroy the sculptures you don't like; ruin the sculptures you do...Create something unique and so bad that it's good!
In this experience you will:
~ Experience the freedom to f*ck around and find out. ~
~ Rid yourself of doubt and hesitation. ~
~ Tap into your radical self expression. ~
~ Unlock new levels of creativity. ~
~ Get inspired by the weirdos around you. ~
~ Blast open the permission you give yourself to do things that feel good without attachment to outcome. ~
This is a fully facilitated experience that is designed to transform your relationship with art, yourself, and the communities you're a part of. Come exactly as you are, alone or with friends. (From personal experience, showing up alone often leads to a lot of magic).
Make sure you're utterly unprepared and leave your expectations at the door! Everything you need will be provided for you. Now... let's make some BAD ART!
Bad Art Club is brought to you by Jules Costa. In addition to being a Creatrix of bad art, Jules is a Psychedelic Integration Guide and Transformational Facilitator in San Francisco. She gets off on structured chaos, and can't wait to get messy with you.
