Registration is NOW OPEN for our popular 8-week series of classes, “Backyard Horticulture,” designed for new and veteran gardeners alike. Held on Friday afternoons in Harwich, February 6 through March 27, a wide variety of topics are covered within the sessions. We'll dig deep into soil & composting, seed starting, pruning, vegetable gardening, analyzing & treating garden problems, annuals & perennials, hydrangea care, garden design, native plants & pollinators -- to name a few.
Weekly classes are led by both County Extension professionals and certified master gardeners, and feature two or three speakers per session. Class size is limited. Fee for all 8 sessions is $80.
A separate series of classes is taught in Barnstable Village on Thursdays, with different topics. See listing under our other FB Events.
