Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed this glass and steel house located along the Fox River in Plano, Illinois, for Dr. Edith Farnsworth in 1946, as a weekend retreat and a place to entertain and enjoy nature.
Scott Mehaffey, Executive Director of The Edith Farnsworth House, will share some of the lesser known details behind this iconic example of International Style of architecture.
The Presentation begins promptly at 7 pm.
Doors open at 6:30 to enjoy light refreshments prior to the presentation.
This event is $15 per person to attend.
