Our new weekly social "Backroom Blues" is pure Blues and Blues only. One and a half hours of energetic jookin’, stylish ballrooming, fast strutting, lazy slow drag, Chicago tripples and sexy fishtails messing around. Let’s fill up the cozy dance floor down stairs in the backroom of De Nieuwe Anita.Support yourself and our beloved community, invite your friends through this event, and then come and dance!
You can bring your water bottle, but please get a few drinks from the bar as well. We get the venue for free, let’s show our gratitude by buying their booze.
If you feel like DJ-ing a set, let us know, we will schedule you in.
- Where? De Nieuwe Anita, Frederik Hendrikstraat 111, Amsterdam (past the bar in the back, through the doors and down the stairs)
- When? Every Tuesday (except March 4th) from 21:30-23:00
- Costs? Our social is free, but a small donation (in cash or QR) will help to cover expenses and organize future activities.
