The Arts at St. Paul & Incarnation is happy to present a day of poetry, music and comedy! Back to the Garden will feature the poetry of Alicia Wright, Crystal Letters and Golden Light Poetry with a piano performance by Kenny Jaworski. At around 4:30, we will have an open mic for poets, comedians and musicians (sign up at 3:15). Carmen Victorious will be your host.

KENNY JAWORSKI is a pianist and composer of his own, self-styled music. Though self-taught, he studied music at Webster University and won an Independent Music award in a year that spanned 22 countries, for a solo piano concert album of this music.
ALICIA D. WRIGHT is a writer and Jersey City resident. Her monologue: “My Curly Hair,” has been published in In Full Color, The First Five Years Anthology. Alicia graduated from California State University at Northridge with a B.A. in English/Writing.
AURELIA LUCIANO (@goldenlightpoetry) is a Dominican American poet that writes about her life experiences as a millennial, blacK & LatinX woman. She is a community event host/curator and an event producer at SMUSH gallery in JC. A single mother to a Rockstar and the light of her own life. She is currently working on her debut poetry book, Evergreen.
CRYSTAL DAVIS is a multidisciplinary and mixed media performance artist, poet, painter, freelance writer, editor, and social media marketer. Born and raised in Jersey City, she is the author and creator at Crystal Letters (CL), and the
Co-Founder and Co-Producer of Open Road Poetry (ORP), an artistic partnership between CL and RescuePoetix TM through which she has collaborated with arts non-profit organizations and artists across the Tri-State area, nationally, and internationally. Her work is inspired by nature, color, and the utilization of practical craft through art in the visual and written form.
