The theme of this year’s Trivia Night is "Back to the 80s" - a time before COVID19 and social media, but when video killed the radio star.
Put on your creative caps as a prize will be awarded to the best dressed team/table!
When: Saturday 19th June 2021
Time: Doors open 5:30pm for set up/registration; pre-ordered dinner and drinks will be served from 6.15pm, Trivia starts at 6.30pm sharp!
Where: Aspley State School Hall, Horn Road, Aspley Q 4034
Teams:
Get your team together, come up with a team name, then enter your team name at the registration desk on the night. Six to eight is the recommended number per team. (8 is max).
If you do not have a team – don’t worry, we’ll find you a team to join on the night. It’s a great way to meet new people!

Entry fee:
$20 per person / $120 per table of 8
(please note, your ticket includes a non-alcoholic drink and snack on arrival).

Please follow the directions of the event organisers at all time.
Should government restrictions take place, it is likely this event will be taken to an online format or postponed to a later date.
By purchasing a ticket to this event, you understand that this event is run by volunteers and we plan this event in good faith for our community. We will refund ticket costs should the event not proceed due to restrictions outside of our control.
Funds raised at this event will go towards fixing the Middle Years Playground. All funds raised by the P&C go back to the school (no-one gets paid to organise these events so participate generously!).

WHAT IS A TRIVIA NIGHT?
A trivia night is a function where a group of people get together and have their own quiz competition. If you are looking for a team-based activity where people from all backgrounds and abilities can come together in a relaxed and fun environment, you will not find a better option than a trivia night.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Players form teams that compete amongst each other, for prizes; and there may be a “silent” auction where you can bid on some awesome prizes. There will also be raffle prizes. It usually lasts between two and three hours. At the end of the night, the team with the highest score wins. Simple!
SILENT AUCTION:
During a silent auction, bids are written on a sheet of paper . At the predetermined end of the auction, the highest listed bidder wins the item. If you are deemed the winning bidder, you will need to pay for the prize at the end of the night to collect it. You must be present on the night to participate in our silent auction. The prizes for the SILENT AUCTION will be available for viewing on the night. This list may get updated as we near the event so keep an eye out on Facebook!
GENERAL RAFFLE:
We will have awesome prizes to win through our raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased online via the trybooking website. You do not have to be in attendance at the trivia night to purchase raffle tickets. The raffle prizes will be drawn at the end of the Trivia night. All winners will be notified by phone/text and required to collect their prizes within 7 days.
