About this Event
It’s back-to-school season, and we’ve got the perfect excuse to dress up your pup for class photos! Thanks to the talented Lorena Cora, you’ll have the chance to take home a beautiful professional portrait of your best friend at our AKC Fit Dog Walk + Yappy Hour on September 18. We'll have our walk first, and then enjoy photos, drinks, and conversation!
Photos at 7 PM: We’re suggesting a minimum donation of $15 to our friends at Paw Patrol Animal Rescue for your professional portraits. Every dollar goes directly to helping pets in need, and your pup gets to shine in front of the camera. Think of it as school picture day, except way cuter, and for a beautiful cause!
Bay 13 Brewery is extending these specials for our group:
- $10 Benchmark Bourbon Old Fashioned
- $25 Pitchers of Craft Beer (60 oz)
- $10 House Margaritas!

What to expect:
- Socialize and Unwind: Meet old and new friends while your dogs socialize over dinner and drinks.
- AKC Fit Dog Walk: This will count toward your AKC Fit Dog Walk title!
- Bring your flashlights and light-up collars!
The AKC Fit Dog Walk will be one mile in length. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free, as always.
Safety First: To keep our dogs safe, let's remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk. Please bring water for your pups! Please let us know if your dogs have special needs or prefer to avoid certain kinds of dogs, etc.
Please feel free to come by whenever works best for you. We might already be on our walk by 6:15/30, so you can wait for us to return to the reserved patio space or try to join us on the walk. We do our best to check our messages until the start of the walk and will try to share the route so you can join in. Photos start at 7 PM!
Dogs in strollers and wheelchairs are welcome—there is no need to finish the walk. You can always take breaks!⠀Please only use retractable leads if strictly necessary and if you’re committed to being careful—there have been some leash mishaps. And bring water for your pups during the walk—thank you!
