Welcome Fall with the House of Shine Back to School Bash!

As the weather begins to cool and the school year is in full swing, join us for a refreshing Back to School Bash at House of Shine! This come-and-go event is the perfect way for students and families to refocus, connect and shine as they settle into their fall routines.

What to Expect:

What's the Scoop? Cool off with free treats as you discover what makes you unique and ready to take on the school year! Plus, get the scoop on all the exciting upcoming House of Shine events and opportunities, including:

7th Annual HolidayArtisan Market: Discover how students and families can participate in this creative and entrepreneurial experience.
3rd Annual Change Bowl: Learn about how to get involved in our leadership-driven initiative where young changemakers pitch ideas to make a difference.
Leadership Development: Explore programs that help individuals grow into confident, self-aware and resilient leaders, including SHINE U workshops, StrengthsExplorer, Rise & Shine women's monthly workshops and so much more.
Yay Days: Find out more about our upcoming monthly themed community events designed to spread joy and positivity.
Volunteer Opportunities: Discover ways you and your family can explore your SHINE while creating meaningful impact for our community.

Teacher Gratitude: Create a craft for a favorite teacher and complete personal SHINE sheet (Strengths, Hobbies, Interests/Irritants, Needs, and Experiences) to help guide your fall journey.

Shine Capsule Closing: Join us in making history as we close the Shine Capsule exhibit, locking away the thoughts, trends, and treasures of the past year, all set to be rediscovered in 2074. Feel free to bring any final mementos to add to the capsule before we seal it.

Showcase: Participants will reflect their summer adventures and share their Journey Sticks with stories that kept them shining all season long.

100-Day Challenge Reflections: The 100 Day Challenge was a piloted summer project designed to help participants dive deep into their interests and develop their passions over the course of 100 days. Celebrate the achievements from the 2024 Summer participants and get inspired by their dedication and creativity.

With the shift in seasons, this event is designed to help families bring focus to the months ahead while enjoying a day of fun, reflection and community.
