Two sets of workshops to ease you back into the new Tango Nuevo term.
Saturday will be 3 hours of fundamentals,
drilling the essential components of posture, frame, connection and basic steps.
Not so much ‘beginners’ as ‘foundational’.
All of the more complex technique succeeds or fails on the back of the things we will cover.
Close and open embrace, basic sequences, ochos and crosses.
Sunday will be extended techniques. How do we develop more intricate tango moves from a solid core of tango principles?
Looking at leg wraps, volcadas and colgadas in their unadorned forms.
Two sets of workshops designed to ease you back in to the new term.
Saturday suitable for beginners, returners and consolidators.
Sunday suitable as an introduction to more complex techniques, dancers with solid basics or as a refresher to those who have done a little more tango but want to build technique and confidence.
Workshops in York (precise location to be confirmed).
