About this Event
A one-day hands-on workshop at the beautiful 42 Acres retreat centre in nature, using nature as a starting point for enhancing wellbeing and creating a greater sense of prupose.
Frontline professionals provide critical services to society, yet levels of stress, anxiety and lack of wellbeing appear to be increasing. This is bad for everybody, and the cost of high rates of sick leave and staff turnover reduce what is available for delivery and improvement of services. We have developed a one-day workshop which aims to address this issue. We piloted this in January 2024, and we are now organising two further one-day workshops which will be held on 5th and 6th July 2024. These will build on what we did in January through the feedback and ideas from those who attended that workshop.
The workshops are being held at the wonderful 42 Acres retreat centre in Somerset, which offers us the opportunity to use “nature” as a central point for enhancing wellbeing. Alongside this the workshop will explore other ways of enhancing well-being including purpose, playfulness, health and diet. The workshop will be highly interactive, and much of the day will be spent “in nature”.
We would like to invite you to join us. But also to bring along a group of those frontline professionals you are working with. The cost per person is £85 which includes attendance, course materials, lunch and all refreshments.
A limited number of bursaries are available for those who would otherwise be unable to attend. Please contact caroline Essame for further information: [email protected]
