Welcome to the Back to Basics Retrospective event! Join us on Thu Jul 11 2024 at 18:30. We'll be gathering at the Goethe-Institut Washington DC, 1377 R St NW.
How can design strengthen the social bonds that are vital to a thriving, equitable D.C.? These question prompted the Public Interest Design Lab. This initiative was in partnership with the DC Public Library and supported six design practitioners from many fields confronting the most urgent issues in their communities. The upcoming event will explore Back to Basics: Mobile, the project initiated by Anna McCorvey of the River East Design Center (REDC). The program concludes with a panel discussion with the Design Lab fellows.
